This morning, August 6, Russian troops struck a recreation center in the Zaporizhzhia region with high-explosive aerial bombs. There are dead and wounded, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"On August 6, between 5:55 and 6:10 a.m. Kyiv time, Russia struck the territory of a recreation center in one of the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region with aerial bombs. According to preliminary data, 2 people were killed and 12 were wounded, including at least 2 children,” the State Emergency Service says.

Rescuers transported the injured to medical personnel and evacuated vacationers from dangerous areas.

Currently, fires in buildings and vehicles are being extinguished at the recreation center. 9 single-story vacation houses were damaged by the explosions.

Since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have been attacking the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region with various types of weapons.

In particular, Russian troops launched an air strike on the Zaporizhzhia district this morning, August 6. As a result of the Russian strike, there are killed and wounded.

In particular, on the night of July 20, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region with strike drones and artillery. As a result, several private houses were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia, windows and the facade of a high-rise building were damaged, and there were also injuries.

In addition, on the morning of July 15, Russians continued to attack Ukraine with drones. An air raid alert has been in effect in the Zaporizhzhia region for over 13 hours.

2 people were also injured as a result of the Russian strikes on Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia itself, fires broke out due to the Russian drone attack, and the administrative building of one of the infrastructure facilities was damaged.
