Russian strikes on Kharkiv

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has been systematically attacking Kharkiv and nearby settlements, using various types of weapons — missiles, attack drones, and aerial bombs (KABs).

On the morning of October 22, Russian forces attacked the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with kamikaze drones. One of them hit a private educational center where 48 children were present at the time.

As a result of the attack, one person was killed — a municipal worker who was cleaning the area near a kindergarten. Nine people were injured, most of them those who were outdoors. The first photos from the site of the strike on the educational facility have already appeared online.

In addition, on the night of October 21, the Russian army dropped aerial bombs on Kharkiv. More than ten residential buildings were damaged in the attack, and there were reports of injured civilians.
