Russian drones attack aftermath: Fire breaks out in Kyiv region
Kyiv region was attacked by Russian kamikaze drones on the night of December 21. As a result, a fire broke out in a warehouse in one of the districts, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, and the State Emergency Service.
Local authorities report the fall of drone debris, and the State Emergency Service reports a drone strike.
A fire broke out in one of the warehouses of a civilian enterprise as a result of the night attack. As of 1:07 a.m., the fire was completely extinguished over an area of 1,500 meters. According to the rescuers, the warehouse was destroyed, and the structures were damaged.
In addition, the windows were smashed and the walls of the four-story building and two warehouse buildings located nearby were damaged. Eight cars were damaged.
According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties. The responsible services continue to work to eliminate and record the consequences of the nighttime strike.
Russian night attack
Last night, the Russians launched 35 kamikaze drones at Ukraine from three directions: Cape Chauda (Crimea), Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk (Russia). The drone attack took place in waves at different times between 20:00 on December 20 and 03:30 on December 21.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the air defense forces shot down 34 Shaheds.
In the Poltava region, the wreckage of the downed drones fell on a residential building, causing damage.
