According to updated reports, the number of victims in Kharkiv has increased again as a result of a Russian kamikaze drone strike the night before. Over 10 ambulance crews have been deployed to help the victims, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, says.

The official informed that as of this morning, 45 people have already been reported injured as a result of Russian drone strikes on Kharkiv.

Earlier, there was information about 38 victims.

Syniehubov clarified that out of the total number:

  • 31 people suffered an acute stress reaction,
  • 14 citizens were injured (various degrees of severity),
  • 5 people were hospitalized.

"Among the victims are 2 children and a pregnant woman. To help the victims in Kharkiv, 13 emergency medical teams were engaged," the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration informed.

Russian drone strikes on Kharkiv in the evening of April 29

On Monday evening, amid the threat of a Russian drone attack, several explosions were heard in Kharkiv. Local authorities said that as a result of Russian drone strikes, high-rise buildings, private homes, cars, businesses, and two city hospitals were damaged.

The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported that Russian air strikes hit civilian targets in 4 districts of Kharkiv.

Russian occupiers used Geran-2 drones to attack Kharkiv.

The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration said that a 5-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, and a 24-year-old pregnant woman were among the victims in Kharkiv.

At night, videos and photos of the aftermath of the Russian drone attack on Kharkiv also appeared. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the Russian strikes caused large-scale fires in several districts of the city and destruction.

Throughout the night and into the morning, Russian invaders continued to launch kamikaze drones toward Kharkiv for a new wave of attacks.
