Russian drone strike injures six, including teen, at Ukraine's Kharkiv furniture store

Russian forces struck a furniture store in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with a drone. Preliminary reports say six people were injured. Emergency services are working at the scene, informs Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"We have information about a hostile drone strike on a furniture store in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv," Terekhov said.
The mayor noted that reports of casualties appeared almost immediately after the strike. By 4:35 PM Kyiv time, six people were confirmed injured.
"Emergency services are on site. As of now, six people are reported injured," he added.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said one of the injured is a teenager.
"Among the injured in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv is a 17-year-old girl. Four injured women have been hospitalized. Medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance," he said.

Earlier on August 9, Russian forces hit a shuttle bus in a suburb of Kherson with drones.
Two men died in the strike on the bus. Sixteen others were wounded, including three police officers caught in a second Russian attack.
The repeated hit occurred when police tried to recover the bodies of the dead from the bus interior, which was struck by an FPV drone.
In total, overnight into Saturday, Russia launched 47 drones and attacked with two Iskander-K cruise missiles. The Air Force of Ukraine intercepted one cruise missile and 16 enemy drones. However, 31 drones hit 15 different locations.
Earlier on the morning of August 9, Russia attacked Dnipro with missiles. A woman born in 1984 and two men born in 1995 and 2004 were injured.
