Russian forces attacked Dnipro this morning, August 9. Rescuers have shared the aftermath of the enemy strike via the State Emergency Service’s Telegram channel

"In the morning, the Russians struck the city. A woman born in 1984 and two men born in 1995 and 2004 were injured — their lives are not in danger," the State Emergency Service said.

It was also noted that the strike damaged an industrial facility, destroyed several passenger cars, and caused a fire in a non-operational building. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.

Night attack by Russia on August 9

It should be recalled that overnight, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with strike drones from several directions.

The city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region came under attack. According to preliminary information, drones struck one of the city’s outlying neighborhoods. The UAV strike caused two injuries and damaged an apartment building.

There were also reports of a strike on the Balakliia community. There, drones targeted the central part of the city, with several impact sites recorded.

In addition, this morning, August 9, the Russian army launched a missile strike on Dnipro. Damage was reported in the city, and there are casualties.
