Russian drone attack hits private house in Balakliia

The Balakliia community was once again attacked by strike drones, resulting in damage to private homes and non-residential buildings. Emergency services are working at the scene, states Vitalii Karabanov, head of the Balakliia Military-Civil Administration.
According to local authorities, enemy drones targeted the central part of the city, where several impact points were recorded.
One of the strikes hit a private residential property, while another struck a non-residential building.
Fortunately, thanks to the swift response of emergency services, serious casualties were avoided. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are already working at the sites, assessing the damage and taking measures to ensure the safety of residents.
Drone attack on the night of August 9
On the night of August 9, the Russian military once again launched Shahed kamikaze drones over Ukrainian territory.
The Russian army attacked the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region with drones. Preliminary reports indicate that they struck one of the city’s remote neighborhoods.
On the night of August 8, the Ukrainian Air Forces destroyed more than 80 enemy drones. Most of them were Shahed drones, as well as rocket drones and decoys.
