Russia strikes Chuhuiv: Two injured, homes damaged

On the night of Saturday, August 9, the Russian army attacked the city of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region with drones, according to the community head Halyna Minaieva.
Preliminary reports indicate that the drones struck one of the city’s remote neighborhoods.
“As a result of the UAV strike, two people were injured and a multi-apartment building was damaged. Specialized services are working on site,” Minaieva reported.
Last night, Russian forces once again launched several groups of Shahed drones from different directions. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions.

We also reported that on August 2, Russian forces launched Shahed drones toward Ukraine. Air raid sirens were sounded in several eastern and northern regions, and air defense forces were active.
Around 00:30 Kyiv time, in the city of Chuhuiv, an explosion was heard. Drones also attacked one of Kharkiv’s districts. Later, it was reported that the drones damaged several private houses. Residents, including women, were injured.
