Missile strike on Dnipro injures three, wrecks buildings and cars

On Saturday morning, August 9, the Russian army carried out a missile strike on Dnipro, causing damage across the city and leaving several people injured, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak on Telegram.
As of 7:40 a.m., three people were reported injured in the missile strike on Dnipro — a 41-year-old woman and two men, aged 21 and 29. They were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
An industrial facility was also damaged in the attack.
"Vehicles were smashed, and a non-operational building was damaged. A fire broke out," Lysak wrote.
It should be recalled that at around 6 a.m., the Air Force reported a high-speed target heading toward Dnipro, and just a few minutes later, local media reported an explosion in the city.
Night attack by Russia
It should be recalled that overnight, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with strike drones from several directions.
It is already known that the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region came under attack. According to preliminary information, drones struck one of the city’s outlying neighborhoods. The UAV strike left two people injured and damaged an apartment building.
There were also reports of a strike on the Balakliia community. There, drones targeted the central part of the city, with several impact sites recorded.
One strike hit a private household, and another damaged a non-residential building.
