Debris from downed Russian drones fell near the Verkhovna Rada in central Kyiv. No damage was reported, according to the Verkhovna Rada on Telegram.

"Following tonight's Russian drone attack, debris from a downed drone was found near the Verkhovna Rada building," the report states.

According to preliminary information, no damage has been detected.

What is known about the night attack

On the night of September 7, Russia launched 67 kamikaze drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed 58 Shaheds. Six drones were directed towards Russia, Belarus, and Luhansk region. Several drones were also lost in transit.

Air defense operations took place in 11 Ukrainian regions: Vinnytsia, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kherson, and Poltava.

In Kyiv, air defense systems were active, and explosions were heard. Debris from downed Shaheds was found in several districts. According to local authorities, debris was discovered on the grounds of a kindergarten in the Dniprovskyi district, and a small fire occurred in the Pecherskyi district.
