Russian combined attack on Kyiv leaves 17 injured, hundreds of emergency teams respond

In Kyiv, the number of casualties rose following a massive Russian combined attack. Hundreds of rescuers and law enforcement officers are involved in emergency response efforts, informs Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
As of now, the minister reports 17 injuries from the attack.
Overall, the emergency response in Kyiv involves:
- 400 rescuers from the State Emergency Service;
- 300 law enforcement officers.
"Engineering and robotic equipment are in use. High-altitude rescue teams are working. Explosive ordnance disposal units are also deployed to check for threats to civilians," Klymenko said.
Shevchenkivskyi district, Kyiv
Emergency response continues in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where Russia targeted residential infrastructure. About 30 investigative and operational teams are currently documenting the damage.

During the massive nighttime strike, the enemy used a total of 415 air attack weapons, including:
- 397 Shahed strike drones and imitation drones;
- eight Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- six Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- four S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles.
Kyiv was the main target of the strike. Ukrainian Air Force shot down 178 air targets. Additionally, 204 drones and missiles were lost due to electronic warfare (jammed or suppressed).
