Ukraine shoots down 92% of Russia's drones and missiles in July 10 attack

On the night of July 10, Russia launched another massive air attack on Ukraine, firing 415 drones and missiles. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine intercepted more than 90% of the Russian targets.
As reported, Russia's main target of the strike was the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

Among the enemy targets were:
- 397 strike Shahed drones and various types of drone imitators from different directions. About 200 of them were Shaheds.
- 8 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from the Bryansk region, Russia.
- 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from the airspace of the Saratov region, Russia.
- 4 S-300 surface-to-air guided missiles launched from the Kursk region, Russia.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation, surface-to-air missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups.
According to preliminary data, by 10:00 AM Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force had shot down 178 Russian air attack weapons.
- 164 Russian Shaheds;
- 8 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Additionally, 204 drones and missiles were lost due to electronic warfare suppression or were lost on radar. Overall, 382 air targets were neutralized, which accounts for 92.05% of the total number launched by the enemy.
However, Russian air attack weapons still hit eight locations, with 33 strike drones hitting targets. Additionally, downed drones and missiles fell in 23 locations.
Russian attack on Kyiv on July 10
As a reminder, the Russians once again launched a massive attack on Ukraine with missiles and drones that night. The enemy's main target in last night’s strike was Kyiv.
The Russians launched kamikaze drones, ballistic, and cruise missiles toward the capital.
As a result of the Russian attack, damage was recorded in six districts of the city. Houses were damaged, fires were reported, and other effects occurred. The heaviest damage was in Shevchenkivskyi district.
According to the latest information, 16 people were injured in the city, and two were killed.
Following the attack, several streets in Kyiv were closed, and restrictions were imposed on public transportation.
