Russian strike on Boryspil leaves one dead and buildings heavily damaged

Overnight on September 1, the Kyiv region came under a massive attack by Russian missiles and attack drones. One person was killed and eight others were injured, including a child, in Boryspil, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Tkachenko, the enemy is deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure and residential buildings. In Boryspil, a five-story residential building was damaged as a result of the attack, and cars parked nearby caught fire - the blaze has already been extinguished. Forty-eight people were evacuated from the building.
Eight injured people, including a child, are currently known; all are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
A facility was also damaged in Boryspil. As a result of the strike, one person was killed and another sustained injuries.
Emergency responders, medical personnel, police, and other essential services are working at the scene. Response and recovery efforts are ongoing, and information is being updated.
That same night, explosions were heard in Kyiv - Russian forces attacked the capital with ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as attack drones.
The Boryspil district has repeatedly come under attack in recent weeks. On August 22, Russian forces struck the district with ballistic missiles. And on August 20, food warehouses and Red Cross facilities in Boryspil were hit - the attack at that time claimed the lives of 13 people.
