Russian combined attack leaves parts of Kyiv without electricity

Power outages occurred in Kyiv amid a combined Russian attack on Tuesday night. Specifically, electricity problems were recorded in the Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts, according to a post by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Russian forces carried out a combined strike on the capital on the night of June 2. There were reports of launches of cruise, hypersonic, and ballistic missiles. The Air Force reported at 3:43 Kyiv time that another group of missiles was heading toward Kyiv.
The Air Force also warned about groups of drones heading toward Kyiv from the north of the Chernihiv region.
As a result, several districts of the capital suffered from the attack – numerous fires were recorded in open areas, as well as non-residential and residential buildings, warehouses, and cars caught fire. In the Holosiivskyi district, the facade and window glazing of a medical facility were damaged.
Windows were blown out of buildings in the capital due to the explosions. Regarding electricity, Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote that outages were recorded in three districts – Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi.
As of 3:53, the number of injured in the capital had risen to 8 people. No fatalities have been reported so far.
On May 13, power outages were recorded in six regions of Ukraine as a result of Russian strikes on energy facilities.
It was also reported that in April, bad weather caused power outages in Ukraine.
