Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk in Ukraine's Donetsk region in the afternoon of March 29. As a result of the strike, three people were killed, and seven others were injured, according to Donetsk Regional Military Administration head Vadym Filashkin.
The military head reported that the Russians dropped a guided aerial bomb on Kramatorsk city during the day. Three people are already confirmed dead, including a 13-year-old child. Seven others, aged between 20 and 85, were wounded.
"All the necessary services are working at the scene. The final number of victims and the extent of the destruction are being established," he said.
Filashkin added that this was another deliberate and targeted attack by Russian troops on a peaceful city, noting that during such strikes, Russians purposefully kill children.
"This is deliberate terror against our people. They will be held accountable for every life destroyed and every home ruined," he concluded.

This is far from the first such attack by Russian forces on Ukraine's Kramatorsk. Russian troops shell the frontline city on a regular basis, indiscriminately dropping guided aerial bombs (KABs) in an apparent attempt to kill as many civilians as possible.
Earlier, at dawn on February 8, the Russians undertook another attack on Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. One person was killed in the attack, others were injured, and residential buildings were damaged. Five days later, on February 13, three civilians were killed when an aerial bomb destroyed their home.
In September last year, Russian forces carried out an airstrike with FAB-250 bombs on central Kramatorsk, resulting in 19 people being injured, and 35 apartment buildings, several educational institutions, administrative buildings, a bank, and stores being damaged.
On October 23, 2025, Freedom TV journalist Olena Hubanova (Hramova) and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin were killed in Kramatorsk when their car was deliberately struck by a Russian drone.
