Frontline situation
Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck several Russian military targets overnight on August 19, including three drone depots, a drone command post, a relay station, a logistics depot, and a key bridge used for military supply routes across the occupied territories. Damage and Russian losses are still being assessed.
Meanwhile, a Russian drone strike on Zhytomyr killed two police officers and injured at least 20 people, hitting the regional police headquarters and sparking fires. Emergency crews are working at the scene.
