Ukraine’s Defense Forces attacked three drone depots, command facilities, a bridge and other important enemy targets overnight on August 19, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

New Russian targets hit

The General Staff listed the following Russian military targets that were struck:

  • a road bridge over the Molochna River near Molochansk in the Zaporizhzhia region, which is used to support military logistics;
  • three drone depots near Novopetrykivka and Novotroitske in the Donetsk region and Lobacheve in the Luhansk region;
  • a ground-based relay station used to control Geran/Gerbera-type attack drones in Olenivka in temporarily occupied Crimea;
  • a drone command post near Verkhnii Rohachyk in the Kherson region.

In the Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces also hit:

  • a military logistics depot in Kadiivka;
  • an area where enemy weapons and military equipment were concentrated in Lysychansk.

The General Staff said that Russia's losses are still being clarified.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes on several Russian military facilities on August 17 and overnight on August 18. The targets included an ammunition depot and drone command posts.

In addition, overnight on August 16, Ukrainian forces struck the Kamensky Plant in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region, Russia.

It was also reported that since the beginning of August, Ukrainian drones have attacked nearly one-third of Russia’s major oil refineries. Ukraine has struck 10 of the country’s 34 major refineries.
