Ukraine hit nearly one-third of Russia's major refineries in just 2 weeks

Since early August, Ukrainian drones have attacked nearly a third of Russia's major oil refineries, according to Bloomberg.
The agency notes that the resumption of Ukrainian attacks is once again putting pressure on supplies.
According to a tally based on public statements from both countries, Ukraine has struck 10 of 34 major Russian refineries since the beginning of the month, most of which are linked to Russia's largest oil producers.
Most of the facilities that were attacked had also been struck earlier this year.
The agency reports that this could trigger another spike in fuel prices, creating a potential political problem for the Kremlin ahead of Russia's parliamentary elections next month.
One of Russia's largest oil refineries has completely shut down following a fire caused by a drone attack. It may take up to six months to repair the damaged equipment.
