Strikes on Kramatorsk
In September last year, Russian forces carried out an airstrike with FAB-250 bombs on the center of Kramatorsk. Nineteen people were injured in that attack, and 35 apartment buildings, several educational institutions, administrative buildings, a bank, and shops were damaged.
The occupiers also attacked rescuers while they were extinguishing a fire and shelled a wind power installation near the city for the third time in a week.
Russian forces have been actively using drones to strike Kramatorsk and surrounding areas. On October 24, they attempted to attack a passenger train with drones, but without success.
On October 23, Freedom TV journalist Olena Hubanova (Gramova) and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin were killed in Kramatorsk when their vehicle was deliberately targeted by a Russian drone.
In addition, on the evening of January 11 this year, the occupiers destroyed a city boiler facility that supplied heat to one of the neighborhoods, forcing the management company to drain water from the heating network.
