SBU special operation
On Sunday, June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out drone strikes on Russian airfields.
SBU head Vasyl Malyuk stated that the attack damaged 41 Russian aircraft, most of which were strategic bombers.
"In total, 34% of strategic cruise missile carriers at Russia’s main airbases were hit. It was not just a devastating strike on enemy aviation, but a serious blow to the power and terrorist nature of the Russian Federation," Malyuk emphasized.
The drones struck four military bases: Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya, and Ivanovo. Earlier, the SBU had estimated Russia’s losses from just one day of the Ukrainian special operation.
