Russian overnight attack on Lviv, July 12

On the night of July 12, Russian occupiers once again struck Ukraine. The enemy used kamikaze drones and cruise missiles.

Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Lutsk were the main targets.

In Chernivtsi, debris from enemy objects caused large fires. Administrative buildings, residential houses, shops, and cars were destroyed.

Two deaths have been confirmed — a 26-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man. The Storozhynets community in the Chernivtsi region recorded damage to homes and vehicles, but no casualties.

In Lviv, a drone hit a residential building. It destroyed an entrance, caused a gas leak, and ignited the roof. Other structures were damaged in the Zaliznychnyi district, including a kindergarten.

In Lutsk, explosions and a large fire were reported. The fire completely destroyed a private house. Rescue services are now working to deal with all the consequences of the attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia launched 26 missiles and nearly 600 drones across Ukraine during the night. More than half of the drones were Shaheds.
