In Kyiv, debris from downed Russian drones has been reported in several locations. As a result of the attack, residential buildings and vehicles were damaged, and fires broke out, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko and Kyiv City Military Administration head Timur Tkachenko.

In the Pecherskyi district, drone debris struck a six-story residential building. A fire broke out on the 6th and 7th floors of a 17-story building.

Several apartments were damaged, and residents are being evacuated.

"Two people were injured, one of them hospitalized, while the other received medical assistance on site," Klitschko wrote.

In the Holosiivskyi district, the facades of two residential buildings and two vehicles were damaged.

In the Podilskyi district, debris from a downed enemy drone was found in a courtyard.

A few minutes ago, the enemy attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. Power outages have been reported across the city, with some districts experiencing a total blackout.

Klitschko reported that medical teams were dispatched to the Obolonskyi district.

At present, five people have been injured in the capital. One woman was hospitalized, while the others received medical assistance on site.

"The enemy is striking the city’s critical infrastructure," Klitschko added.

According to the mayor, eight people have been injured in Kyiv, five of whom have been hospitalized.

Massive Russian drone attack

On the night of October 10, Russian forces are carrying out a massive attack on Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones. Air raid alerts have been issued in many regions, explosions are being heard, and air defense forces are operating.

In particular, the enemy struck Zaporizhzhia with Shahed drones. A building caught fire, and residents were injured.

In Kyiv, the large-scale attack may cause disruptions to the electricity and water supply.
