Russian strike on Dnipro causes casualties and significant destruction. A day of mourning has been declared for tomorrow in the city, reports Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov and Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

According to Filatov, tomorrow, March 30, has been declared a day of mourning in the city for the victims.

He mentioned that emergency services, municipal workers, and special equipment are currently on the scene of the enemy strikes.

"We are assessing the damage, and it's already clear that at least 1,500 windows will need to be replaced in the buildings. I am meeting with all responsible parties, so no homeowners' association or apartment building in distress will be left behind," the mayor emphasized.

At the same time, Filatov reported that they had separately discussed the situation with the owners of the destroyed hotel-restaurant complex.

"By some miracle, no one died there. As for the rest, the city will try to help as much as it can. We are also working on the procedure to reduce the land tax for this facility," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Lysak reported that the number of injuries in the city had increased. The total number of injured reached 24, with nine hospitalized.
