The massive attack on Dnipro was Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s response to US proposals for a ceasefire, according to Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on X.

The minister stated that the overnight drone strike on Dnipro killed four people and injured more than 20, including a pregnant woman.

Sybiha emphasized that such actions by Russia are a direct response to the US peace initiatives.

The foreign minister stated that a Russian drone strike on Dnipro last night killed four people and injured more than 20 others, including a pregnant woman.

Sybiha stressed that these actions by Russia are a direct response to the US peace initiatives.

Massive strike on Dnipro

Russia launched a large-scale drone attack on Dnipro on the evening of March 28. Fires broke out in the city, damaging apartment buildings, private homes, an educational institution, an administrative building, warehouses, and garages. The attack also destroyed a well-known hotel and restaurant complex in Dnipro.

According to the State Emergency Service and local authorities, as of the morning, four people were confirmed dead, and 21 others were injured. A link provides a view of Dnipro after the massive drone strike.

In total, on the night of March 29, Russia launched 172 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 94 of them, while 69 enemy decoy drones were lost from radar without causing damage.
