Russian attack destroys shopping mall in Zaporizhzhia and knocks out power

The Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia with kamikaze drones overnight. The city sustained damage and fires in private and commercial buildings, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
At this time, it is known that a private house was damaged as a result of the Russian forces' attack. Windows were shattered, and the gate and fence were damaged.
A fire also broke out, which rescuers have already extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The Epicentr shopping center in one of Zaporizhzhia's districts sustained more extensive damage. A major fire broke out there following the attack, and State Emergency Service crews are currently battling the blaze.
Additionally, a Russian strike caused a localized blackout, leaving approximately 1,200 consumers in one of the city's districts without electricity.
"As soon as the security situation permits, energy workers will begin restoration efforts," the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration said.

Zaporizhzhia remains under constant Russian attack
Russian units are striking Zaporizhzhia daily with drones, aerial bombs, and ballistic missiles. Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on August 11, Russian forces killed six residents of Zaporizhzhia and wounded 19 others.
On August 10, Russia also dropped a guided aerial bomb on the city. The strike left 24 people injured, including a 10-year-old girl in serious condition.
More recently, Russian forces struck a children's regional hospital in Zaporizhzhia, causing damage to the building.
