Russia strikes children's hospital in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Footage

Russian forces struck a regional children's hospital in Zaporizhzhia, damaging the building, according to Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

Fedorov said Russian forces struck the grounds of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
"Fortunately, when the air raid alert was issued, all children and medical staff were in a shelter. There were no casualties," he said.

The hospital's facade and windows were damaged in the Russian attack.
Earlier, at around 9:00 p.m. Kyiv time, Ukraine's Air Force warned of threats to the Zaporizhzhia region from:
- Guided aerial bombs (KABs),
- Attack drones,
- Tactical aircraft.
Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia
As previously reported by RBC-Ukraine, Russian forces struck a residential area in Zaporizhzhia on Aug. 2. Two people were injured and several homes were damaged.
On July 25, Russian troops also attacked civilian infrastructure in the city, targeting a warehouse belonging to a logistics operator.
A day earlier, on July 24, Russia launched another attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing one person and injuring two others.
