Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia with North Korean ballistic missile, killing 6

On the night of August 11, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing at least six civilians in the city. In addition, 19 more people were injured, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to the head of state, efforts to deal with the aftermath of the Russian strike on the city have continued since the night.
For the new air attack, the enemy used North Korean ballistic missiles, Zircon missiles, and guided aerial bombs.
"It was a vicious attack, calculated to inflict maximum damage specifically on civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, as of now, six people have been reported killed and nineteen wounded in the city. My condolences to their families and loved ones," Zelenskyy stressed.

The president also confirmed that the enemy damaged the building of an infectious diseases hospital and businesses in the Ukrainian capital.
Moreover, Russia is intensifying drone terror in frontline communities.
According to Zelenskyy, the enemy struck substations in Kherson and Kharkiv, causing power outages.
"All services are working to restore power to families. The Donetsk, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv regions also came under attack. In addition to missiles, more than 120 drones were used against Ukraine, most of them jet-powered Shaheds," the head of state clarified.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine showed photos of the aftermath of the enemy attack on the Ukrainian capital.
