Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia with guided bomb, injuring 24, including 10-year-old girl

On August 10, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with a guided aerial bomb. The number of people injured in the attack increased several times, according to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov.
At 10:53 a.m., Fedorov confirmed that Russia had launched a new airstrike on the city.
"Cars are on fire, and a private house has been damaged: these are the preliminary consequences of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. The Russians dropped a guided aerial bomb on the regional capital," he said.
At around 11:15 a.m., the head of the regional administration reported that three civilians had been injured.
It was also reported that several vehicles had caught fire.
At 12:19 p.m., the number of people injured in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia rose to four, including a child who required medical attention.

At around 1:10 p.m., Fedorov confirmed that 13 people had been injured in the city.
"Among those injured is a 10-year-old girl who is in the hospital in serious condition," the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
The head of the regional military administration said the number of people injured had risen again.
"Unfortunately, the number of people injured in the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 18," Fedorov added.
According to him, medics were already at the scene and providing all necessary assistance.
As of 1:53 p.m., the number of people injured in the city had reached 24. At least two children were also among those injured.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported how Ukraine's air defenses repelled Russia's overnight attack on August 10.
It was also reported that Russia plans to launch 200 ballistic missiles at Ukraine in a single attack.
