Russian army strikes Donetsk region with UMPB bombs: One killed and several injured
Russian forces carried out an airstrike using UMPB munitions (Unified Multi-Purpose Gliding Bombs) on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region on the evening of October 7. The shelling resulted in injuries, including among children, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
"Today, Russian forces shelled the city, reportedly using UMPB D-30SN bombs. Among the injured are a two-year-old girl, a man, and three women," the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Additionally, at least six apartment buildings, an administrative building, a car wash, and several vehicles were damaged as a result of the shelling.
It is noted that all necessary services are currently working at the scene.

According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, one person was killed and six others were injured as a result of the attack.
Among the injured are a 2-year-old and a 13-year-old girl, both in satisfactory condition.
Shelling of Ukraine on October 7
During the night of October 7, Russian forces launched a massive missile strike across Ukraine. Russia used Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Kh-59 air-launched missiles, and drones.
In the course of repelling the attack, air defense successfully destroyed two Kinzhal missiles and 32 enemy drones.
In particular, debris from the shelling was reported to have fallen in several districts of Kyiv.
Additionally, a missile strike was confirmed near the Starokostiantyniv airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region.
