Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: Consequences revealed
Today, on October 7, Russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv. Preliminary, all missiles were destroyed, according to the Kyiv City State Administration.
Previously, Russian MiG-31K carriers launched Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
Debris has fallen in a number of areas, including
- Solomianskyi district - debris damaged the roof of a multi-story residential building. One of the fragments fell on the territory of a school, while the rest fell mostly on open ground. Preliminary, there were no casualties;
- Holosiivskyi district - a fragment damaged the roof of a car. There was also a fall of debris in the open area. Also, preliminarily, no one was injured;
- Shevchenkivskyi district - fragments fell in an open area. No one was injured.
“All operational services are involved. The data of the operational summary is being updated and clarified,” the Kyiv City State Administration writes.
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a fire broke out in the Solomianskyi district.
“Possibly due to the fall of Russian rocket debris. Preliminary, there were no casualties. Medics are already at the scene. Other services are on their way,” he writes.
Fire has been extinguished
“The fire in Solomianskyi district, which started in one of the garages in a private area as a result of a falling piece of debris, has been extinguished. There are no casualties,” Klitschko wrote.
He also added that the debris was found near the entrance of an apartment building and in the yard of a private house.
In particular, in the Solomyinskyi district, Russian rocket fragments fell near a supermarket.
