Russian airstrike on Sloviansk city in eastern Ukraine kills four, injures 16

On the morning of March 10, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the center of Sloviansk in Ukraine's Donetsk region. Four people were killed, and 16 were injured in the attack, including a child, head of Donetsk regional military administration Vadym Filashkin reports.
According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, Russian troops attacked the city this morning. The target was dense residential development. One of the munitions hit an apartment building, and two more fell near high-rise buildings.
Initially, it was reported that two people were killed in an attack. However, later head of the Donetsk regional military administration Vadym Filashkin clarified that the number of victims increased to at least four.
According to him, among the injured is a 14-year-old girl.

In addition, strikes of three aerial bombs damaged at least six high-rise buildings and ten cars.
Rescuers, medics, and other emergency services are working at the scene. The number of victims and scale of destruction are currently being clarified.
Filashkin emphasized that all circumstances of the attack are being documented as another war crime of Russia. In case of new information, authorities promised to report further.
Attacks on Sloviansk
Sloviansk of the Donetsk region, located in immediate proximity to the frontline, constantly suffers from Russian attacks.
The city lives under a continuous threat of strikes by guided aerial bombs (KABs), missiles, and FPV drones.
In particular, earlier Russian troops attacked Sloviansk with FPV drones. As a result of one such strike, two teenagers aged 16 and 17 were injured.
Also on December 28, they carried out three aerial bomb strikes on the city. At that time, the private sector came under attack — one person was killed, and three more were injured.
Before that, Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on the city, as a result of which almost ten houses and cars were damaged, and six people were injured.
