The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing in the Melitopol direction. In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders are delivering fire strikes to the enemy's rear.

In the Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled more than 20 enemy attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

In the past 24 hours, there have been 60 combat engagements. Overall, the enemy conducted 8 missile and 15 aviation strikes, firing 61 rocket attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of our troops and populated areas.

Additionally, during the past day, Russian occupiers launched another rocket and aviation strike on Ukraine, using 4 guided aviation missiles Kh-59, a ballistic missile Iskander-M, guided surface-to-air missiles S-300/400, and impact UAVs of the type Shahed-136/131.

Most of the impact UAVs and 3 guided aviation missiles Kh-59 were destroyed by air defense forces and assets.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are unfortunately casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

The following areas were subjected to aviation strikes:

Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region
Berislav and Vesele in Kherson region

In addition to these, approximately 80 populated areas in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The frontline situation

The operational situation in Volyn and Polissia directions remains relatively stable.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively engaging in sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian forces to critical areas, and increasing the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy did not engage in offensive actions but continued troop movements and repositioning.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost ground near Andriivka, where our defenders repelled five enemy attacks. Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive actions south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy's personnel and equipment, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, the occupiers persist in their efforts to encircle Avdiivka, but our troops are holding a strong defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, with our defense forces repelling 15 enemy attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops here repelled over 20 enemy attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Vodyane, Zolota Niva, and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy attempted to regain lost ground northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region but was unsuccessful.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol directions, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops are engaged in counter-battery warfare, delivering fire strikes on the enemy's rear positions.

Enemy losses

During the day, the defense forces' aviation carried out 5 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military machinery were concentrated, and 4 more strikes targeted the enemy's air defense missile systems.

The missile forces units hit 4 areas where enemy personnel, equipment, and military machinery were concentrated, as well as 8 artillery pieces, 2 ammunition depots, a heavy flamethrower system of volley fire TOC-1A Solntsepek and 3 enemy air defense systems.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 297,680 military personnel.
