Ukrainian soldiers continue to advance on two fronts, repelling Russian attacks near Maryinka and destroying an enemy radio-electronic warfare station, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling continues

The Russian Federation persists in conducting its aggressive war, despite significant losses, refusing to abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine.

Over the course of the day, there were 36 military clashes. In total, the enemy launched 3 missile strikes and 35 airstrikes, as well as carried out 30 shelling attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our forces and populated areas.

Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties.

Frontline situation

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings.

Identified units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and subversive activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine.

Approximately 20 populated areas have suffered from artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy, including Senkivka, Bleshnia, Karpovychi in the Chernihiv region; Simeikyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Basivka, Hrabovske, Popivka, Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, where our troops repelled 5 attacks. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Petropavlivka, Pischane, and Proletarske in the Kharkiv region.

Over 10 populated areas, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Serebrianske Forestry, Riznikivka, Spyrne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

Around 10 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy delivered an aviation strike in the vicinity of Klishchiivka.

Over 15 populated areas, including Markove, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, New-York in Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of populated localities Stepove, Avdiivka, Toretske, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

The enemy carried out more than 10 aviation strikes in the area of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar fire affected Ocheretyne, Berdychiv, Lastochkyne, Toretske, Netaylove, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinity of Maryinka in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 13 attacks.

Nearly 10 populated areas in the Donetsk region, including Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations unsuccessfully in the area of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. The enemy delivered an aviation strike near Rivnopole in the Donetsk region.

Over 10 populated areas, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenska, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions. More than 15 populated areas, including Poltavka, Huliapole, Charivne, Orihiv, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy delivered an aviation strike in the area of Tiahynka in the Kherson region. Also, enemy artillery fire affected Beryslav, Tiahynka, Ivanivka in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, launching offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction. They inflict casualties and equipment losses on the occupying forces, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation conducted 17 strikes on areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment and 4 strikes on the enemy's air defense missile systems.

Missile troops units hit 6 artillery pieces, 2 command points, a fuel and lubricants depot, an area with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, an air defense system, 2 radar stations, and a radio electronic warfare station of the enemy.

The total number of losses for the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 306,860 military personnel.
