The President of the United States, Donald Trump, believes that Ukraine should not carry out strikes on Moscow, the American leader made this statement during a conversation with journalists.

Journalists asked Trump whether Zelenskyy could strike Moscow.

"He shouldn't target Moscow," the president replied.

Rumors about the conversation between Trump and Zelenskyy

Earlier, the Financial Times reported that during talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump allegedly urged Ukraine to step up strikes on Russian territory and asked whether Kyiv would be able to strike Moscow.

Zelenskyy reportedly replied to Trump that such strikes would be possible if the appropriate weapons were available.

According to the outlet’s sources, this conversation took place on July 4.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that the American leader "simply asked a question" and did not call for killings.

She assured that Trump is working to stop the killings in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
