Ukrainian soldiers are advancing on two fronts, repelling 12 attacks by occupiers near Kupiansk and targeting five Russian command points, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

At the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers launched another missile and aerial strike on Ukraine, employing a guided aviation missile X-59, surface-to-air guided missiles S-300, and 6 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. One guided aviation missile X-59 and 6 Shahed drones were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense forces.

During the day, there were 56 combat clashes. The enemy carried out 3 missile strikes and 34 aerial attacks, along with 6 rocket artillery barrages on the positions of our forces and civilian settlements.

Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.

The situation on the fronts

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains challenging.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. No signs of enemy offensive groupings have been detected.

Designated units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are carrying out tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues shelling of populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy conducted an aviation strike in the area of Mykolaivka in the Sumy region.

Approximately 10 populated areas, including Senkivka, Turia, Hremiach in the Chernihiv region, and Baranivka, Sosnivka, Shalyhyne, Holyshivske, and Pokrovka in the Sumy region, were shelled with artillery and mortars.

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated places of Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region and 7 more attacks near Nadiia in the Luhansk region.

Around 10 populated areas, including Krasne Pershe, Senkivka, Petropavlivka, Kyslivka, and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region, were shelled with artillery and mortars.

On the Lyman front, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Serebrianske forestry and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Sperne and Vesele in the Donetsk region.

Around 20 populated areas, including Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Terni, Kolodiazi, Bilohorivka, Sperne, and Vesele in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar fire.

On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled enemy attacks in the area of Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted an aviation strike near New York in the Donetsk region.

Over 15 populated areas, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, were exposed to artillery and mortar fire.

On the Avdiivka front, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault operations with aviation support in the areas of Avdiivka and south of Tonenke in the Donetsk region. Defense forces repelled five enemy attacks in this area. Additionally, the enemy conducted aviation strikes near Stepove in the Donetsk region.

More than 15 populated areas, including Sukha Balka, Keramik, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar fire.

On the Maryinka front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with aviation support in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian forces repelled 17 enemy attacks in this area.

About 10 populated areas, including Oleksandrivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Shakhtarsk front, Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks south of Zolota Nyva and south of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted aviation strikes near Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, and Rivnopole in the Donetsk region.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenska, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the area west of Robotyne, the Zaporizhzhia region.

Additionally, over 15 populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia region, including Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charyvne, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky, and Kamianske, were hit by artillery and mortar fire.

On the Kherson front, the occupiers carried out aviation strikes in the area of Beryslav in the Kherson region.

Enemy artillery and mortar fire affected Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Odradokamianka, Antonivka, Kizomyss in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson, Dmytrivka, Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.

Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol front, conducting offensive (assault) actions on the Bakhmut front, causing losses to the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Defense Forces' aviation delivered 15 strikes on the areas where the enemy's personnel, armaments, and military equipment were concentrated, and conducted 3 strikes on the enemy's air defense missile complexes.

Units of the missile troops struck 5 command points, areas with the concentration of personnel, armaments, and military equipment, an ammunition depot, and an artillery means of the enemy.

It is worth recalling that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 289,430 military personnel.
