Ukrainian soldiers are advancing on two fronts, repelling Russian attacks near Pervomaiske, the Donetsk region, and damaging four enemy anti-aircraft systems, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling continues

The enemy continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, using terrorist tactics and shelling both military and civilian objects.

During the past day, there have been 26 combat clashes. Additionally, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukraine, using the Iskander-K cruise missile and 31 UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type.

The air defense system destroyed the Iskander-K cruise missile and 29 enemy Shahed drones. In total, the enemy conducted 3 missile strikes and 80 aviation attacks, as well as 28 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on our troops' positions and civilian settlements.

Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have also suffered destruction and damage.

Frontline situation

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains relatively stable, with no significant changes observed. There are no signs of enemy offensive group formations.

Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces continue to operate in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues shelling of populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the Ukrainian state border.

Over 25 populated areas, including Karpovychi, Bleshnia, the Chernihiv region; Khotin, Yastrubine, Volodymyrivka, Novodmytrivka, the Sumy region; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Ivashky, Hatysche, the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.

On the Kupiansk front, the enemy attempted unsuccessfully to regain lost ground in the vicinity of Andriivka, the Donetsk region. They carried out airstrikes near the populated areas of Bohdanivka, Kostiantynivka, Klishchyiivka, Andriivka, and Oleksandro-Shultyn, the Kharkiv region.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Bila Hora, Ivanivske, Klishchyiivka, and New York, the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the area of Pervomaiske, the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted airstrikes near the populated areas of Bohdanivka, Kostiantynivka, Klishchyiivka, Andriivka, and Oleksandro-Shultyn, the Kharkiv region.

Over 10 populated areas, including Stepove, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Novokalynove, and Pervomaiske, the Donetsk region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

On the Maryinka front, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 10 attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka, the Donetsk region, and an enemy attack near Krasnohorivka, the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted airstrikes near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka, the Donetsk region.

More than 10 populated areas, including Heorhiivka, Katerynivka, Maryinka, and Pobeda, the Donetsk region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of the populated areas of Vodiane, Urozhaine, and Shakhtarske, the Donetsk region.

Populated areas, including Levedne, Huliaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Lobkove, Robotyne, Piatykhatky, and Orihiv, the Zaporizhia region, were shelled with artillery and mortar fire.

On the Kherson front, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of the populated areas of Antonivka and Olhivka, the Kherson region.

More than 10 populated areas, including Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Zmiivka, the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson, Dmytrivka, the Mykolaiv region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol front, conducting offensive (assault) actions on the Bakhmut front. They inflict losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces delivered 13 strikes on areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentration, and 4 strikes on enemy air defense missile systems.

Units of the missile forces hit 3 areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentration, and 20 artillery systems of the enemy.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 279,440 military personnel.
