Russia tries to hit Odesa port with drone boat

Ukraine’s Navy detected the movement of an enemy unmanned surface vessel heading toward one of Odesa’s port facilities. The threat was promptly identified by surveillance forces, according to the Ukrainian Navy.
After identifying the target, naval forces decided to immediately destroy the drone boat. The attempt to approach the port was thwarted, and the threat was neutralized.
Attacks on Odesa’s port infrastructure
On the night of April 18, Russian forces struck the port and logistics infrastructure in the Odesa region. A truck driver was injured and received medical assistance at the scene.
Warehouse facilities, cargo vehicles, and a building were also damaged, and buses caught fire.
On the night of April 14, Russian forces launched a massive strike with kamikaze drones on the southern part of the Odesa region, damaging port infrastructure and civilian facilities.
At the port of Izmail, a Panama-flagged vessel, a berth, a barge, and part of the port equipment were damaged.
A service station building caught fire after being hit and was destroyed. Two passenger buses and seven cars were also destroyed.
On April 23, Russian forces struck railway infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, though preliminary reports indicated no casualties.
Zelenskyy also told journalists that even potential revenues Russia may gain from developments in Iran will not be enough to offset its existing state budget deficit.
