Russia targets Odesa port and logistics, sparks fire and damage

In the night of April 18, Russian forces carried out a targeted strike on port infrastructure and logistics in Odesa region, according to Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
As a result of the attack on the port, a truck driver was injured — the man sustained wounds and received medical assistance on site.
Warehouses, freight transport, and a building were also damaged, and buses caught fire.
At the territory of a port operator, corn silos were damaged, causing a fire. Emergency services are working at the scene.

"Russia systematically attacks ports, export infrastructure, and civilian logistics, attempting to disrupt the operation of Ukraine’s maritime corridor, impact the economy, and global food security," Kuleba stressed.

Strikes on Ukraine
Recall that on the night of April 18, the enemy attacked a key energy facility in the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region, leaving 380,000 consumers without electricity.
Russian forces also struck a private residential building in the city of Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv region using a drone.
In addition, Russian troops attacked residential areas of Zaporizhzhia with drones overnight. One person was reported injured, and fires broke out.
