Russia testing Ukraine's border near Kharkiv region with small-scale attacks

Russian forces continue to attempt to advance along the border near the Kharkiv region. However, so far, these are "probing" actions against Ukrainian defenses, informs Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Grouping of Troops.
"The Russians are already making attempts to advance along the border in the Kharkiv region," Trehubov said.
However, the spokesperson emphasized that these are not large-scale attacks. They are more like probing maneuvers.
"As usual, Russian attacks have gone toward Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory — so they go there, they have not changed in this regard," Trehubov explained.
Frontline situation
Recently, Russian forces advanced in the northern parts of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
At the same time, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian forces recently made gains near Toretsk. Meanwhile, Russian forces are advancing near Novopavlivka and Kurakhove.
