Russia strikes Ukrainian railway infrastructure overnight: Aftermath revealed

Russian troops attacked railway infrastructure with strike drones again tonight, August 7, according to Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, chair of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"Another night... Another night of massive Shahed drone attacks on civilian railway infrastructure. This time – Prydniprovka," Pertsovskyi says.
According to him, the security measures introduced at Ukrzaliznytsia worked – all employees on duty moved to shelters in advance and were not injured.
"We will restore the infrastructure and equipment after the damage. We are not stopping traffic in any way — it will not be possible to sow panic or despair," he adds.
Russian strikes on railway infrastructure
On August 5, the Russian army struck railway infrastructure in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. One person was killed and four were wounded. The railway station and other infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the Russian attack.
In addition, on the evening of August 1, Russian troops struck the railway station in Sumy. A passenger train was damaged as a result of the Russian strikes.
Railway infrastructure in Kyiv was also recently damaged as a result of Russian strikes.
