Russia strikes Ukraine with 71 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported
On the night of February 3, Russia attacked Ukraine with 71 Shahed drones and other types of drones. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 38 of them.
Russia launched the drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the temporarily occupied Crimea.
As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 38 drones were confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Another 25 drones were lost locally without any negative consequences.
Russia struck Sumy, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has regularly struck Ukraine's infrastructure, which poses a serious threat to civilians. In particular, Russians launch drones almost every night. For example, on the night of February 2, Russians launched 55 drones. At the same time, air defense was operating in 10 regions.
