On the night of December 15, Russian troops carried out another massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones and multiple launch rocket systems, according to Vladyslav Haivanenko, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.

On the night of December 15, Russia struck several areas of the region, resulting in casualties among the civilian population.

In the Synelnykove district, the Russians attacked the Mykolaiv community with strike drones. As a result of the Russian strike, 2 men aged 29 and 42 were wounded. The explosions caused fires and damage to civilian infrastructure.

Russian Shahed drones were also directed at Pavlohrad and Piatykhatky. Fires broke out in these settlements, damaging infrastructure and a transport company. The relevant services are currently clarifying the final consequences of the Russian attack.

Russians also shelled the Marhanets community in the Nikopol district with Grad multiple launch rocket systems. According to updated data, three people were injured as a result of the Russian daytime shelling: a 19-year-old man, a 51-year-old woman, and a 55-year-old man. All of them are receiving outpatient treatment.

At the same time, despite the intensity of the Russian attack, the Ukrainian air defense forces demonstrated effective work. According to the Air Command, 22 Russian drones were destroyed over the Dnipropetrovsk region from evening to morning.

On the night of December 13, Russian troops carried out a missile and drone strike on power generation, distribution, and transmission facilities in several regions of Ukraine. As a result of the Russian strikes, residents in the Odesa, Chernihiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Mykolaiv regions were left without electricity.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia used an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 138 drones that night. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 110 Russian drones.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia has recently intensified its air strikes on Ukraine.
