On the night of July 17, Russian troops struck Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. Fires broke out in the city, businesses were damaged, and there were casualties among civilians, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

According to him, the Ukrainian military destroyed 22 Russian drones, but they were unable to avoid being hit.

In particular, the city of Dnipro came under massive Russian attack.

"One person was killed in Dnipro. Five more were injured. Men aged 35, 37, 40, and 52 were hospitalized. Three of them are in severe condition. A 70-year-old victim will recover at home. Several fires broke out at once. Businesses were damaged," Lysak wrote.

A loud noise was reported in the Dnipro region, specifically in the Solone and Slobozhanske communities. As a result of the Russian attack, a farm building and a greenhouse were destroyed.

Russia struck the Nikopol district with FPV drones and Grad multiple launch rocket systems and dropped ammunition from drones. The cities of Nikopol and Marganets were hit.

"Five people were injured. Men aged 31, 42, and 65 and a 58-year-old woman were hospitalized in moderate condition. A 21-year-old man will be treated at home. A car caught fire. A private house and a farm building were damaged," Lysak said.

The head of the regional military administration added that Russia also targeted the Mezhova community in the Synelnykove district with FPV drones. The Russian attack damaged infrastructure.

Around midnight on July 17, explosions were heard in Dnipro and the city of Samar due to a Russian drone attack.

On the evening of Wednesday, July 16, Russia's military struck Nikopol with an FPV drone. A truck caught fire.

While dealing with the aftermath of the strike, Russians repeatedly attacked Ukrainian rescuers with drones, causing casualties.
