Russia strikes residential buildings in Odesa: Multiple casualties reported
Russian forces struck residential buildings in Odesa on November 18. Casualties and injuries have already been confirmed by Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Hennadii Trukhanov, mayor of Odesa.
"Russian terrorists carried out a missile attack on Odesa. There are victims and injured," Kiper stated.
According to the head of the Administration, civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, has been damaged.
Strike on Odesa residential area was deliberate
Later, the missile strike on Odesa was confirmed by Andriy Yermak and Dmytro Lubinets.
"In Odesa, Russians killed people with a deliberate strike on civilian infrastructure. Russian murderers do not even hide their intentions," Yermak wrote.
Lubinets added that the Russian missile once again targeted residential buildings.
"Yesterday - Sumy. Today - Odesa. Casualties and injuries have already been reported. My heartfelt condolences to the families," he wrote.
8 dead and 18 injured
It has now been confirmed that eight people have died in Odesa.
"The enemy treacherously directed a missile at a residential area, a zone of business activity. Currently, it is known that 8 people have died; they were just going about their daily lives," said the city's mayor, Hennadii Trukhanov.
Additionally, according to Kiper's report, 18 others were injured.
"18 injured. Among the victims is one child. Four people are in critical condition," he stated.
Footage from the site of the occupiers' strike on Odesa has also begun to appear online.

Explosion in Odesa
Around noon on November 18, an explosion occurred in Odesa. Before this, the Air Force had warned of a ballistic missile threat from Crimea.
"Ballistic threat to Odesa," the military had reported.
By 12:16 PM Kyiv time, the Air Force announced that the ballistic missile threat had been canceled.
Attack on Odesa during a massive strike on Ukraine
Russian forces have been striking Odesa for the second consecutive day. On November 17, the occupiers launched a massive attack targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and Odesa was hit as well.
Following the shelling, Odesa is facing the most severe power supply issues. The city has been experiencing disruptions in electricity, water, and heating services.
Additionally, two energy workers were killed in the Odesa region as a result of a missile attack.
