Today, August 26, during a massive Russian shelling in Lutsk, the apartment building was damaged, according to Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk.

At 8:23 a.m., Polishchuk announced the operation of air defense and called on civilians to stay in shelters.

Later, the mayor also reported damage to an apartment building.

"Details about the victims are being clarified. I am at the scene," he adds.

At 8:55 a.m., Polishchuk warned of another explosion in the city.

Russia killed a civilian in Lutsk

According to the mayor, the Russian shelling damaged an infrastructure facility in the city. There is also information about one killed person.

This morning, Russia launched a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine with attack drones and cruise missiles. At night, it was reported that ten Tu-95MS strategic bombers took off and withdrew Russian ships with Kalibrs into the Black Sea.
