Russia deploys Kalibr carriers to Black Sea
Several carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles are currently in the Black Sea, capable of launching around 30 aerial targets simultaneously, according to the Ukrainian Naval Forces.
It has been reported that there are four enemy ships in the Black Sea, all equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 28 missiles.
In the Azov Sea, there are currently no enemy ships. In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three Russian ships, but none are equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles.
Over the past day, the following naval movements have been recorded in the interests of Russia:
- to the Black Sea - 3 vessels, with 1 continuing towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Azov Sea: 12 vessels, with 6 coming from the Bosporus Strait.
"Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS)," the report states.
