In the early hours of September 21, Russia launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. According to preliminary information, three people were killed, and three others were injured. More people may still be trapped under the rubble, according to the head of the city's Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul.

"Rescue operations are ongoing following the missile strike on the residential area of the city," wrote Oleksandr Vilkul.

He confirmed that all rescue, utility, and medical services are involved in efforts to save lives.

The city's headquarters for helping people is being set up at School No. 123.

At around 3:00 a.m. (according to the Kyiv time zone), the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of cruise missiles toward Kryvyi Rih.

Updated at 7:02 am (Kyiv time). One of the dead is a 12-year-old boy, reported Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

The missile strike claimed the lives of two women, aged 75 and 79.

Three other individuals sustained injuries, including a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 31 and 50. They have been hospitalized in moderate condition.

Earlier, during a Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih in the early hours of September 4, a hotel was destroyed, and educational institutions were damaged. Five people were injured.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the shelling of Lviv and Kryvyi Rih that night, stressing that Russian terror must be stopped.
