Hotel destroyed: Aftermath of Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih
A hotel was destroyed in Kryvyi Rih during a Russian attack on the night of September 4. Educational institutions were also damaged, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), Serhii Lysak.
"The hotel building has been destroyed from the 1st to the 3rd floors. The terror against civilians continues," he said.
According to Lysak, besides residential buildings, four educational institutions in Kryvyi Rih were damaged, along with the same number of cars, as well as a pharmacy and shops.

Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of September 4. In particular, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih during the missile strike.
Later, it was reported that the occupiers struck a civilian infrastructure facility in the city center. As of now, five people have been injured in Kryvyi Rih due to the Russian attack, including a 10-year-old child.
Russian attacks on hotels in Ukraine
In recent weeks, the Russian army has likely started using a new tactic—targeting hotels in frontline cities in Ukraine. For instance, on August 25, Russia struck a hotel in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, injuring foreign journalists.
Additionally, on the night of August 27, the occupiers hit a hotel in Kryvyi Rih with a missile. Two people were killed, and five others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
