Russia struck Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region on the night of August 25. Foreign journalists were injured in the attack, according to Donetsk Regional Military Administration head Vadym Filashkin on Telegram.

He noted that the enemy's target in the city was a hotel. As of 8:00 a.m., two people are known to be injured, and one more person is trapped under the rubble. All three victims are journalists, citizens of Ukraine, the US, and the UK.

In addition to the hotel, a nearby high-rise building was also damaged.

"Authorities, police, and rescuers are working at the site. The debris removal and rescue operation is ongoing," the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration added.

The prosecutor's office notes that Russian troops struck Kramatorsk with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. The foreign journalists, aged 38 and 40, were diagnosed with mine-blast trauma, concussion, a broken leg, contusion, and cut wounds.

Another of their colleagues is probably under the rubble.

Nighttime attacks on Ukraine

On the night of August 25, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine. The occupiers fired an Iskander-K cruise missile and an Iskander-M ballistic missile, as well as six guided air-launched Kh-59/Kh-69 missiles. Additionally, nine kamikaze drones were reported to have been launched.

The air defense forces destroyed eight Shahed drones. The drones were shot down in the Mykolaiv region.

According to Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force, the Russians struck front-line regions of Ukraine. Attacks were reported in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.

It is known that the occupiers targeted Kharkiv and Chuhuiv. In Kharkiv, two strikes were recorded. Buildings were damaged, a fire broke out on a gas pipeline, and there were casualties.
