Russia strikes civilian infrastructure facility in Kryvyi Rih
Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region, with cruise missiles, according to Air Alert Map.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of two Russian cruise missiles heading for Kryvyi Rih.
In Kryvyi Rih, a Russian missile hit a civilian infrastructure facility in the city center, says Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's Defense Council.
The blast wave damaged more than 10 high-rise buildings. There were no casualties. Five people were injured, but their condition is normal.
The city's headquarters for helping people (building materials, applications for financial assistance from the city) is being set up at school No. 103 (formerly Kostenko Street 23).
All emergency, medical, and utility services are working.
Traffic has been temporarily suspended on the section from Sviatoheorhiivska Street to Domnobudivnykiv Square. Trains of routes 2, 5, 7, 9, 22, 25, and 27 in the direction of Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi station are turning around at the Heroes of ATO roundabout. Cars of routes 9, and 14 operate on the section from Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi station to Domnobudivnykiv Square.
On the night of September 4, a large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine. Russia launched drones and missiles.
Explosions were heard in Sumy. According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the Air Defense Forces were operating in the Kyiv region. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv, Lviv, and Rivne.
